Continue on this way and you'll find Casa natale di G.B. Cima (G.B. Cima's home 1457-1517), which is now namesake and seat of the Foundation, and where recent Bronze age finds are kept and reproductions of works of the Maestro are on display. Proceed on the right and climb up via Beccaruzzi which leads into the ancient calle Castagnera, this road used to join the village to the Caslle. You then arrive at the ex- convent of Saint Francis (now used as an elementary school), this huge Franciscan complex (15th - 18th eentury) houses a cloister and agraceful 17th century well. Then go along the short stretch of via De Amicis and enter on your left, the calle della Madonna della Neve (Calle of the Snow Madonna) flanked by the Carrarese walls (14th century) which leads to the Castle(llth - 18th century).
